Shruti Rana

Shruti Rana has held academic leadership and faculty roles at several public flagship universities. Her scholarship focuses on international law and global governance, with recent publications on women’s leadership in academia and the judiciary. Prior to joining academia, Rana practiced international and corporate law at law firms in Washington, DC and San Francisco, CA, worked on international women’s rights programs at the United Nations, and served as a judicial law clerk for a judge at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  She is actively involved in her community, and was elected to the City Council in Bloomington, Indiana and currently serves on several nonprofit and community boards.
